Very good. First chapter gets a little more complicated but still easy to follow. The last chapter is mostly review of what he has taught in all of them.
Great approach making learning easier. There are times though that having the written word in front of you would be beneficial.
I'm already an intermediate Spanish speaker, but still have a lot to learn. I listened to this on a plane on the way to Argentina, and I was stunned at how much I learned just by listening (and of course silently reciting things back, you can't just listen mindlessly). Lots of good memory tricks to make these new tenses usable in everyday speech.
I've used rosetta stone with other languages, and this is a very similar in the approach. It involves lots of repetition and real world phrases that follow the same context and story so you can remember things easier (screw you DuoLingo).
I listened at 1.5x speed, sometimes changing the speed and pausing to recite a more complicated phrase.
Lastly, I recommend any Spanish learner to use the WordReference conjugator as well when you're learning tenses. Once you get the speaking and listening working (as you can with this book), it's good to see what it looks like as well.
I really like this audio book. Me and my son Henry are learning Spanish. We live in Brasilia, we both speak portuguese and English, and very soon Spanish. I am buying the second book too. I recommend !!!!
